What is the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), and how do I claim it?

The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is an Australian Government initiative that provides financial assistance to eligible families to help with child care costs. Eligibility depends on several factors, including family income and the type of child care services. Our child care services fall under the scheme, and if you are eligible, CCS is paid directly to us as the child care provider to reduce the fees for you. To claim CCS, you must:

  1. Register for a MyGov account
  2. Link it to Centrelink
  3. Complete the CCS claim form with the required documentation and information
  4. Submit your application and wait for approval

After you submit your CCS claim, Services Australia will evaluate your eligibility and inform you of your subsidy entitlement. This process can take four weeks, so don't panic if you haven't heard back immediately. Check in with Services Australia if you have concerns, and they will provide an update.
