Childcare fees across our 4 Sydney centres for 2026. What's included depends on the centre. At Normanhurst and West Ryde (long day care, 6 weeks to 6 years), the daily fee covers all meals, cooked on site: breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late afternoon snack. It also covers the education program, sunscreen and a bucket hat. Nappies and baby formula are included for the under-3 rooms. At Roseville (preschool and long day care for children 3 to 6 years) and St Ives Chase (preschool and long day care for children 2.5 to 6 years), the fee covers education, care, sunscreen and a bucket hat. Children bring their own morning tea and lunch from home. The centre provides afternoon tea for long day care children. Normanhurst Child Care Centre

Possum Room (0-2 years): $185 per day
Koala Room (2-3 years): $180 per day
Emu Room (3-6 years): $170 per day
Hours: 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
Includes: Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late afternoon snack, all cooked on site. Plus sunscreen, bucket hat, education program, some visiting shows and activities (called incursions), and nappies and baby formula for Possum and Koala (children aged 0-3).

West Ryde Long Day Care Centre

Joeys Room (0-2 years): $180 per day
Jungle Room (2-3 years): $170 per day
Star Room (3-4 years): $165 per day
Rainbow Room (4-6 years): $165 per day
Hours: 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
Includes: Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late afternoon snack, all cooked on site. Plus sunscreen, bucket hat, education program, some incursions, and nappies and baby formula for Joeys and Jungle (children aged 0-3).

Roseville Kindergarten

Preschool program: $135 per day, 9:00am to 3:00pm
Long Day Care: $166 per day, 8:00am to 5:30pm
Days: Monday to Friday. Eligible 3 and 4-year-olds get an annual Start Strong fee reduction (see below).
Term structure: 49 weeks per year, closing for a short break at Christmas/New Year and on public holidays
Includes: Education program, sunscreen, bucket hat. Children bring their own morning tea and lunch from home; afternoon tea is provided by the centre for long day care children.

St Ives Chase Kindergarten

Preschool program: $135 per day, 9:00am to 3:00pm
Long Day Care: $155 per day, 7:00am to 6:00pm
Days: Monday to Friday. Eligible 3 and 4-year-olds get an annual Start Strong fee reduction (see below).
Term structure: 50 weeks per year, closing for two weeks at Christmas/New Year and on public holidays
Includes: Education program, sunscreen, bucket hat, free nappies for children under 3. Children bring their own morning tea and lunch from home; afternoon tea is provided by the centre for long day care children.

What you actually pay

Almost no family pays the full daily fee. The Child Care Subsidy reduces the fee by between 0% and 90% depending on your family income, and most working families fall somewhere in the 70-90% range. The CCS hourly rate cap of $15.19 means our daily rates are mostly within or just above the cap.

Closure dates and operating weeks

All four centres are CCS-approved centre-based early childhood services. Normanhurst, St Ives Chase and West Ryde are open 50 weeks per year, and Roseville is open 49 weeks. Normanhurst and West Ryde operate as long day care centres for children from 6 weeks to 6 years. Roseville and St Ives Chase offer preschool/kindergarten programs with extended hours for families who need a longer day. Normanhurst, St Ives Chase and West Ryde close for two weeks at Christmas and New Year, Roseville closes for a short break at Christmas and New Year, and all four close on NSW public holidays.

Start Strong NSW funding for Long Day Care

The NSW Government provides Start Strong funding for Long Day Care to all four of our centres. Eligible children aged 3 and above can receive an annual fee reduction, applied as a weekly discount on the gap fee (after the Child Care Subsidy).

For 2026, the funding amounts are:

Children aged 4 and above (turning 4 on or before 31 July of the funding year): up to $1,783 per year
Children aged 3 (turning 3 on or before 31 July of the funding year): up to $423 per year
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children are eligible for the maximum funding rate: up to $2,563 (4 and above) or $769 (3-year-olds) per year

Funding is applied automatically once a family has signed a 2026 Fee Relief Declaration and Consent Form for the relevant child. The reduction shows on your weekly statement after the CCS.
